The Comrades Marathon Association is looking for volunteers to assist in the upcoming race.
The organizers are seeking volunteers for various portfolios, including Marshals, Refreshment Stations, Start Venue and Finish Venue.
Volunteering for the Comrades Marathon is a great opportunity to be part of a historic and prestigious event, as well as to support thousands of runners from around the world who will be gearing up to take on the Ultimate Human Race.
Volunteers will also get to experience the camaraderie, spirit and excitement of the race.
Volunteering, as the term suggests, is a voluntary act of an individual or group freely giving of their time, labour and skills (i.e. without any expectation of payment or compensation). Comrades volunteers are specifically trained in the areas or portfolios in which they are required.
They will receive hands-on guidance and upskilling, where necessary, by our seasoned and senior Race Organising Committee portfolio heads.
